Saving the World in Style

Rooted in unwavering faith in God and the healing power of Mother Nature, our mission is to guide the homeless toward spiritual, emotional, and physical restoration.

Angels of the Northern Star is a newly established Charitable Incorporated Organization deeply rooted in faith and devoted to the urgent need for transformative solutions within the Tyne & Wear area, in order to eradicate homelessness. Our dedication to supporting the most vulnerable in our society extends beyond immediate relief; we work collaboratively with multiple agencies to develop tailored care packages that promote long-term rehabilitation and recovery.

Recognizing the unique struggles of homeless families and young people—particularly those under 18 who are often unable to access soup kitchens or claim benefits—we ensure our outreach is inclusive and sensitive to these overlooked groups. Our vision is to become a beacon of hope and transformation, empowering individuals to rebuild their lives while fostering a strong sense of community spirit.

We support the most vulnerable in Tyne & Wear through holistic, faith-led care plans tailored to each individual’s journey, always guided by the divine partnership of God and nature.

Tyne & Wear

The Challenge

In Tyne & Wear, homelessness has reached critical levels, presenting a formidable and heart-wrenching challenge. Our local shelters and hostels are strained beyond capacity, often forcing individuals in desperate need of refuge to face further hardship.

The harsh weather conditions pose grave health risks, leading to dire consequences for those without essential support. Within this unsettling reality, Angels of the Northern Star operates with urgency and empathy, determined to provide essential emergency supplies and holistic services to those facing their most vulnerable times.

Communication Barriers

Misunderstandings between services and individuals with trauma or disabilities can lead to failed interventions and increased isolation.

Services need to understand that the internal organs and brain functions of our clients are often severely compromised. Until their complex needs and hidden disabilities are recognised, the homeless will continue to struggle to engage effectively or complete the simplest tasks.

Excessive Red Tape

Many are unable to access vital services due to complex forms and reliance on technology that excludes those most in need.

Our clients often face cognitive and physical barriers, including organ failure from prolonged malnutrition and dehydration, making these systems especially inaccessible.

Exploitation

Exploiting vulnerable homeless disabled people for photo opportunities is a deeply unethical practice that objectifies individuals facing immense challenges.

Such actions strip away their dignity, reducing them to props for organizational promotion rather than recognizing their inherent worth as human beings. This exploitation can severely damage their character, emotional well-being and sense of self-worth, further isolating and marginalizing an already vulnerable population.

Neglect

Many services designed to help the homeless are not adequately equipped to address the unique challenges posed by hidden disabilities like mental health conditions, cognitive impairments, or chronic illnesses that aren't immediately visible.

This lack of understanding can lead to misdiagnosis, inappropriate support strategies, and ultimately, continued struggles for individuals who are already facing immense hardship.

Our Approach

We provide tailored care packages to effectively reach & uplift our most vulnerable community members.

Person-Centered Therapy

Person-centred therapy is a humanistic approach to psychotherapy developed by psychologist Carl Rogers and colleagues beginning in the 1940s and extending into the 1980s.

In essence, person-centred therapy is a client-driven approach that empowers individuals to take charge of their own lives and become more self-aware and self-actualised.

Healthy Food

Nutritious meals and food packages that support individual dietary needs to ensure no one goes hungry. To meet the basic needs of our clients while also catering to their complex disabilities with a diet that supports their recovery.

Shelter Support

We assist with trying to source safe housing and temporary shelter as well as providing survival kits for those in urgent need.

Holistic Healing

We provide personalised, spiritually guided care rooted in faith in God and the healing gifts of Mother Nature. This sacred approach allows each individual to surrender old patterns and embrace a transformative path to wellness.

  • Spiritual Guidance: Allowing God and natural forces to lead the way to wholeness.
